disconnect hood trigger

if i turn off hood trigger output in flash manager that means i dont have to connect hood pin correct ??2018 tacoma mt

turning off option A11 means the unit will ignore hood status on CAN-BUS if vehicle is equipped with a factory hood pin.

 

Hood switch is a mandatory safety cut off so that a remote starter cannot be used while the hood is open andsomeone is elbow deep in the engine bay.
