You can easily test the wire by simply turning the parking lights on. The wire will jump to 12V when the parking lights are on. Pin outs are normally always the same so start by testing that pink wire.

thank you, I will test tomorrow. Right now I have the unit plugged into my PC trying to get it past the dcryptor stage, It sits at #2PROCESS and hangs at 24 seconds.

Any particular reason this will just hang at 0 seconds for 20 minutes? It won't get past step 2

The timer will stop at some point but the backend is still working. At some point you will see, actually it should be there by now, an Update button show up.

At the moment, your DCryptor is actually finished. All that needs to be done is to click the Update button. This transfer the information from our Dcryptor servers back into the EVO.

The screen still hasn't changed and it's been about 30 minutes. Are you guys around tomorrow? I had to leave for the night
We are open saturdays from 9am-5pm EST. Support is only done through the tech line though so you will need to call. It's a lot easier to troubleshoot while talking directly to someone anyway.

Actually, I just had a look at our daily jobs for the DCryptor and your unit seems to be fully updated now.

You can take a look yourself here : http://fortin.ca/en/support/001A06447378
Ok great. I will tonight when I get home and call tomorrow if I have further issues. Thank you so much
everything worked out perfect, thank you for your help!

Maybe on wirecolor.com and diagrams that are posted the PIN8 color should be changed being it is pink, not red/blue as per the instructions on a 2015 nissan quest
Thanks for the update. I'll add a note that the wire may be Pink on wirecolor; on vehicles we ahve locally, the wire is red/blue.
