I would like to order the evo all and fort1 harness from you guys for remote start capability.

It mentions on the website they come pre-configured. Can I order this for my 2013 ford focus without the data link updater and just install? Question #2 if I opt out of the parking lights connected, is the remaining connections Don via the t harness? Thanks in advance!

Hi Edward,

In response to your questions you can order directly off of our website. As far as programming it for stand alone and updating the required version you will need the updater. When it ships directly from the factory it does not come pre-programmed for stand alone and firmware will be by default at 4.18. As for your second question you may opt out to hook up parking lights if you have automatic lights they will turn on automatically. You will have to follow the guide closely. There will be some required connections to the vehicle itself from the evo-all such as can bus wire connections at OBD2 connector. Rap shutdown will be required also so the radio will turn off when remote start times out. In your case if you go the stand alone route you will also need an RF kit to remote start this vehicle. This vehicle the doorlock signal does not go through the can bus, you will need the rf kit to trigger the evo all to start the vehicle. Everything else is just basic connections as per the guide.
