Where do I find the GWR status wire?

Don't think you will find a GWR on your factory remote starter. You should probably ask KIA about it....

What are my options to get a bypass. I installed a Kia factory OEM remote starter system U85601D000, and didn't realize that I would still need a bypass with that. My car cranks up but does not start.

You probably do not need a bypass. You probably need to have the system programmed to the vehicle properly.

Just lookup your part number, these starters were manufactured by command start and the transponder bypass part number should be listed in your install guide. The seperate parts plugs in the small 4 pin connector of your module and as Robert says requires programmation at the dealership
