Evo One - 2007 Kia Rio, Trying to stop wipers from turning on

Evo One - 2007 Kia Rio, Trying to stop wipers from turning on no matter the setting while remote started to avoid damaging snow covered/frozen wipers, Thanks.  In the manual it said to cut the wire, but no other info, and cutting it, they don't work at all.

Interrupt power to the wiper motor using a relay. Use the Drk.blue wire on the evo one as the relay trigger.
