08 Sierra sle install guide and wiring question

Question

Evo-all and GM4 T-harness and Flash link.  Stupid ? number 1.  Now that I bought this how can I be sure my truck has remote start which I read in another question.

2. which install guide do I use. Assuming 59011?

I watched one of your videos on a 11 Sierra and I saw no connections to the remote start or data link like it shows in the guide. Just the two connections under the steering column and the parking lights.
