2021 Kia k5 trying to program the evo- all not programming at the final step.

Question

Hello, I'm getting all the way to where you press the button 6 times and the light is red.
 

I press the start stop button twice to turn on the button but the light on the evo doesn't change from blinking 6 times.
 

anything I'm doing wrong? I believe all the wires are connected properly and secure.

press button 6x, connect all remaining connectors, turn ignition on. Again when you turn ignition on the module is checking the ignition (a1) wire and the ems com wire (A10).

when you press the button 6 times do you need to wait for the red light to stop blinking each time you do it?

No you can just press it 6 times and then just ensure you get the 5 flash and a pause repeating atferwards.

Can I send you a video of the sequence of me doing it? I have the yellow ignition wire and I have voltage there. I also have the EMS com wire connected. Which is cut. Yellow red going to the module and yellow green going to the harness side. I've verified it's the white wire on that module.

If it still isnt programming at this point your best bet at this point would be to simply call into the tech line so an agent can go over it with you. Be sure to have the car, module and flasher when calling in.
