Honda SL3 - How should I connect the 12+ Volt and the Ground for Without Data-link install?

Hello,

I'm going to make the installation WITHOUT Data-Link as shown in pictured below.

How should I connect the 12+ Volt and the Ground?

A - The 12 Volt connected to the 12+Volt Cable in the ignition harness.

**Ground already connected.

OR

**I've got an APS997E, that has a Ground Output While Running (-) 300mA wire, that would ground when activated.

With or Without a Fuse?

If using a Fuse how many Amp. 10 amp or how many amps?

Won't this drain my battery? if i.e. the car is let sit, say for a few hours/days.

B - Through a relay that gives Ground to the SL3 when activated.

I've got an APS997E, that has a Ground Output While Running (-) 300mA wire, that would ground the relay terminal 86 and Ground the SL3 Black (Ground) and Blue (While Running) wires. like picture below.

**The 12 Volt connected to the 12+Volt Cable in the ignition harness. With or without fuse.

**Won't this drain my battery? if i.e. the car is let sit, say for a few hours/days.

C - Through a relay that gives 12+Volts to the SL3 when activated.

**Ground already connected.

I've got an APS997E, that has a Ground Output While Running (-) 300mA wire, that would ground the relay terminal 86 and give 12+ Volt to the the SL3 Red(12+ or Positive) wire. like picture below.

Thanks for the help.

Nice Day.

The blue wire from the SL3 goes to the ground while running of your starter.

The red wire in the datalink goes to a constant 12V.

The black wire in the datalink cable goes to constant ground.

No need for a relay.
