Is it necessary to install an additional remote control?

I contacted the local dealer to order any type of Fortin products that could fits my nissan xterra 2014 with standard key, so, the dealr told me that its will not work with my OEM key fob unless if buying an additional remote control from Fortin. Is it true that I will not benft from my original remote ??

Your installer in correct, your car is not listed for 3xlock. I did your car many times. You need RFkit to control the car, you can choose from smart app, 1-way or 2-way remote, or a mix of all before. Good luck.
