These cars should at least crank even when the bypass is not working. It would start run and die off.

Are you using a t-harness?

What is the 12 digit s/n of the module?

Does it attempt to remote start twice or does it just die out after its fist attempt?

I am not using a T-harness as there is not one for the 2013 subaru.

The vehicle doesn't even attempt to turn over.

It turns "on" as though i turn the key to "on" but doesn't attempt to crank. After about 3seconds it turns to off, then repeats the cycle. Once it fails again, the doors lock. When standing in front of the car the parking lights never flash to provide any troubleshooting indication.

Thank you for responding.
You will want to test both starter wires to make sure they both receive 12v when remote starting. The cars wires, not the evo.
I feel like my question was not specific enough that I should clarify that the vehicle will turn over and run when i use the key. The issue is that it will not when using remote start even if the key is in the ignition.

It was properly desrcribed. You need to go over the connections at the ignition switch. And also I would suggest removing any type of T-tap if T-taps were used.

When remote starting:

  • If the vehicle ignition turns on but is not even cranking , there is an issue with the connections made at the ignition switch.
  • If ignition does not even turn on, then something else is going on. Assuming parking lights are connected, count the total number of flashes you get after attempting to remote start. You will get between 1 and 6 flashes. Those flashes mean something.
